Privacy Policy

NBHE is committed to maintaining your privacy. This policy outlines our practices for handling personal information. If you give us personal information, we will treat it according to this policy.

Your personal information is used in the following ways:
  • Feedback and Support—Provides a way for you to request information from NBHE, share your ideas, or tell us how we can improve our organization and support.
  • E-mail Correspondence—Used to allow inquiries of all types as well as correspondence in general.
  • Newsletter Subscription—Provides you with our newsletter upon request.

We will only use your personal information in the ways specified when it was collected. We will not change the way in which we use your personal information, unless you agree to the new manner of use.

We may process or store your information in our U.S. databases, but NBHE will not retain your personal information longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

We may provide links to third-party sites. Since we do not control these web sites, we encourage you to review the privacy policies posted on these (and all) third-party sites.

NBHE encourages parents to go online with their kids and supervise their internet experiences. We will not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have personal information on a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our systems. Here are a few tips to help make your child's online experience safer:
  • Teach kids never to give personal information such as their name, address, phone, school, etc., unless supervised by you, their parent.
  • Know the sites your kids are visiting and which sites are appropriate.
  • Consider using an internet service provider that will block access to inappropriate sites, such as Internet 4 Families, Integrity Online, and Covenant Promotions.
  • Look for web site privacy policies. Know how your child's information is treated.

We would also encourage you to check out the FTC's site for more tips on protecting children's privacy online.

NBHE does not use cookies.
