Kara Stevens, EdM, is an educational consultant with over ten years of teaching, academic coaching, and administrative experience. She is founder of Empowered By Design, LLC, an educational consulting company specializing in the promotion of literacy best practices in high-need schools throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
She hold a BA in Politics from Oberlin College, a MSED in Bilingual Education from Hunter College, and an EdM in Organizational Leadership from Columbia University's Teachers College.
