NBHE Conference Report NBHE hosted its 5th Annual Homeschool Conference Built to Last on July 2nd and 3rd! We are so thankful for another fabulous conference! Everyone enjoyed the wonderful fellowship and all of the outstanding speakers and other presenters! We were delighted to be able to welcome Mr. Philip Carter, whose Stellar Award winning music we thoroughly enjoyed! Another special guest that delighted us all was Mrs. Joyce Carol Thomas, author of many wonderful children's books highlighting the African American Heritage. If you have not read her books, you should take the time to check them out! The children were thrilled with her presentation and her gentle and sweet spirit blessed us all! We would like to once again extend thanks to all of the speakers, exhibitors, children and youth workers, volunteers, and the many others who made this conference possible...we couldn't do it without you!
